Funds raised from this extraordinary concert experience will go towards creating bursaries and scholarships for families who otherwise could not afford SBT's programming.
This 5-week concert series will feature some of the brightest stars and up-and-coming artists from Calgary and beyond! Each week will feature a wealth of talented performers of all ages and communities.

ABOUT STEPHEN SCHWARTZ
Composer Stephen Schwartz has written such hit musicals as WICKED, GODSPELL, and PIPPIN. He has contributed lyrics for a number of successful films, including POCAHONTAS, THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, THE PRINCE OF EGYPT, and ENCHANTED. Schwartz has won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Lyrics, four Grammy Awards, three Academy Awards and has been nominated for six Tony Awards. He received the 2015 Isabelle Stevenson Award, a special Tony Award for his commitment to serving artists and fostering new talent.

ABOUT STEPHEN SONDHEIM
Stephen Sondheim is widely acknowledged as the most innovative, most influential, and most important composer and lyricist in modern Broadway history. Sondheim's contribution to West Side Story in the 1950s brought him recognition as a rising star of Broadway. Known for the startling complexity of his lyricism and music, his major works for the theatre also include A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Sweeney Todd, Sunday in the Park With George, and Into the Woods. He is the winner of an Academy Award, numerous Tony Awards, multiple Grammy Awards and a Pulitzer Prize.
