CREATE A PLAY IN A WEEK OF FUN!
Join us this summer as we take our students on a theatre journey to create their own play all within a safe theatre space. Students, along with their instructor, will write, produce, cast and rehearse a show all their own culminating in a final presentation.
The show will use contributions made by each and every student giving them ownership over the final product.
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Classes will take place in person at the Beddington Theatre Arts Centre
FINAL PRESENTATION
Final presentations will take place in the theatre on the last day of each week of camp. Doors will open at 2:45pm.
FAMILY PROGRAMMING FOR ALL
StoryBook is the leading theatre arts programming for youth in our city. Our "NEVER SAY NO TO A CHILD" mantra allows everyone, regardless of socioe-conomic status to take part in our programming.
In a typical year, StoryBook offers nearly $100,000 in free or subsidized programming to families and children who may not otherwise be able to afford it. If you or someone you know would benefit from our programming and may require financial support, please complete our online form and we will be certain to make some theatre magic.

Join us this summer for an underwater adventure with music from the songwriters of Frozen and the trending TikTok song "Where's my Dad"!
Disney’s Finding Nemo KIDS is a 30-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.
Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo KIDS brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.
