In the fall of 2015 a new program was developed and created called the Ellie Tims Project, in honour of a key StoryBook founder, Ellie Tims.

Ellie and her co-founders believed that children deserved quality theatre programming and should be the focus of this new theatre called StoryBook Theatre.  Since its inception in 1977, StoryBook has catered to families and children of all ages.

Through YOUR support and donations, as well as SBT's Fundraisers like Top Secret Musical and MisCast, The Ellie Tims Project has provided hundreds of deserving students access to theatre school programs. These efforts continue to ensure that ALL StoryBook programs are available to families and students who otherwise cannot afford them.

To date, nearly $1,000,000 in programming has been donated in Ellie's name. We can think of no greater tribute to this remarkable woman, and we thank everyone who has continued to support this endeavour.

In the spring of 2023 Ellie passed away, but her legacy will live in all those students who take part in her name.
