The Spotlight program is a 13-week musical preparation course where students are emerged into the process of putting on a musical. From auditions, rehearsals to live-performance all students will experience what it is like to be part of real musical theatre production.
Taught by working professional actors, singers and dancers students will learn the ins and outs of the performance industry including acting, singing and dancing.
The final two days of. the program culminates in a live performance where parents and friends are invited to share in the work of the students. As this program is about building on the skillsets of the students, costumes and sets are not a part of the final production.
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Classes will take place in person at the Beddington Theatre Arts Centre.
The final will be sold as theatre tickets for parents to purchase. There will be one performance for each of our Spotlight programs allowing family and friends to join in the final presentation of work.
