SPOTLIGHT IS BACK and IN-PERSON

For the last eight years, we have been fortunate enough to engage hundreds of students in our Spotlight program.  Even last year we found a way to present the program in an online format!  We are so excited to allow Spotlight to commence in-person this summer!

This summer we will present two different shows, once for each age group!

PROGRAM INFO

During each three-week IN-PERSON program, students will be put through all the parts of the production process including auditions, casting, training, rehearsals and performance.  This is a SKILL-BASED program with a focus on character and acting development.

Casting for the performance will be decided by the production/teaching team after the student's complete skill testing and audition preparation.

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

Students will meet for regular rehearsals in-person.  As of July 1, it is expected that all restrictions will be lifted.  That said, we plan to continue our safety protocol and practices.

Please read our COVID19 protocols and practices here.

FINAL PRESENTATION
Our final production will be presented online for families to enjoy.  The students will film the production live in-person and together.  Once the final presentation is complete the students will watch the production together on the final class and then it will be streamed to families the following day.

Disney's High School Musical JR.

We're all in this together in Disney Channel's smash hit musical phenomenon featuring the students of East High.

Disney Channel's smash hit movie musical comes to life on our stage in Disney’s High School Musical JR.

Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High must deal with issues of love, friends and family while balancing their classes and extra curricular activities. The show’s infectious, danceable songs are sure to engage performers and audiences alike.

It’s the first day after winter break at East High. The Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes all find their cliques. Basketball team captain and resident jock, Troy, discovers that the brainy Gabriella, a girl he met singing karaoke on his ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. The couple cause an upheaval when they decide to audition for the high school musical. Although many students resent the threat posed to the "status quo," Troy and Gabriella’s alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well.
