In these unprecedented times, it is our belief that the most important thing we can offer is a sense of community.
While moving forward will most certainly not be traditional, we are working hard to make the best decisions for our organization and the community that supports it. We want to assure everyone that the safety of our casts, crews, staff, and patrons is paramount, and will always take priority as we plan for the future. How can I support StoryBook Theatre?
As many of you know, StoryBook is a non-profit that relies on the sales of our programming to support the work that we do. What many do not know is that we do all this work with no corporate support and less than 6% government subsidy and support. The impact of this pandemic will affect the work StoryBook does, for years to come. While we are happy to credit your file for future use, we would ask those of you that can to consider converting your credit to a donation towards our ongoing efforts in sustainability. Will you present shows in-person this year?
It is our hope to present in-person programming this year. We will continue to evaluate the limitations and restrictions in place until the time we can do so safely and confidently.
As a subscriber, I purchased more than one ticket - what does this mean if the shows are going to be online?
If you purchased more than one ticket to see a show (ie. subscribers who purchased tickets for their family) All your tickets purchased for that particular show will be automatically converted into an online code to watch the show from any device.
ie. you have purchased 4 tickets, you will get 4 codes, you can watch on 4 devices.
I only need one online code to watch the show, what do I do with the other codes?
You are invited to keep those extra codes to watch that show on an additional device or you are welcome to EXCHANGE THOSE TICKETS for a different night or show in our season.

When launching our season we knew part of the risk would be that some of our shows may move from in-person to online. We did our best to effectively communicate this throughout the sales of our subscriptions. We encouraged all our subscribers to read our policies prior to making their ticket purchase because there was so much unknown about the future and the impact of COVID19. Our policy reads:
Live presentations are subject to the federal, provincial and municipal controls in place for social gatherings and StoryBook will uphold those regulations for the safety of its casts, crews, staff and patrons. Should a live format presentation not be possible StoryBook will provide an alternative form for presentation and will notify the purchaser within 30 days of the scheduled purchased event of the change. There will be no credit or refund when this occurs.
