ABOUT THE SHOW

Take a fantastic musical adventure with an out-of-this-world car that flies through the air and sails the seas. Featuring an unforgettable score by the Sherman Brothers (Mary Poppins), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is one family-friendly blockbuster that audiences will find "Truly Scrumptious."

Based on the 1968 film of the same name, Chitty Ch
itty Bang Bang tells the story of an eccentric inventor named Caractacus Potts sets about restoring an old race car from a scrap heap with the help of his children, Jeremy and Jemima. They soon discover the car has magical properties, including the ability to float and take flight. Trouble occurs when the evil Baron Bomburst desires the magic car for himself. The family joins forces with Truly Scrumptious and batty Grandpa Potts to outwit the dastardly Baron and Baroness and their villainous henchman, the Child Catcher. What happens when family and teamwork is put to the test? Get your Chitty Chitty Bang Bang tickets to find out!

"If the original production hinged on convincing you a car could fly, this one proves it can fly higher and further than ever before... Above all, it’s one of those rare shows whose thematic message of teamwork and pulling together is borne out by the seamless fluidity of the staging. For the ultimate sugar rush, I can only recommend that you purchase a ticket Toot Sweet."
– The Guardian

"The sincere sweetness [of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang] is carefully rationed to avoid diabetic coma, producing a family musical that will enthrall children and not embarrass or bore adults."
– Variety
