AUDITION UPDATE

With our recent change to our season, we have changed the audition process for this season.  At this time we are ONLY seeking new submissions for ANNIE THE MUSICAL. The additional productions will be auditioned at the end of this year.

If you previously submitted you have nothing left to do.  We are reviewing all submissions for consideration for all our shows, even if you did not originally say you wish to be included for a specific show.

If you no longer wish to be considered for a specific show, that is ok.  If we extend a callback offer to you you may decline consideration at that time.

FINAL ANNIE DEADLINE: JULY 25, 2020 - 11:59 pm

General auditions and callbacks will be held online, through the submission of a self-tape.

With the current social distancing measures, and plans to work some of our productions in an online format, we have made the decision to move all our auditions ONLINE this year. Anyone wishing to be considered for the 2020/21 Season is requested to make a video submission self-tape audition.

Auditions are open to anyone ages 10+. Students must be 10 years old at the time of auditions.

When deciding to audition, be sure to review the SHOW INFORMATION, located on each of the individual show pages, to understand the scope and the commitment required to participate in a StoryBook production.

StoryBook produces shows using volunteer actors with professional production teams including professional directors, designers and choreographers.  We do also offer some artists bursaries or scholarships when casting decisions are made. To find out more about this program please visit this page regarding Actor Fee Consideration.

The audition process is also a learning environment where a panel of up to 4 working theatre professionals will watch your audition and make notes, which are then passed along to the production team for consideration.
