Starting Nov 7 StoryBook excitedly launched into the filming of Annie the Musical. With the cast album already recorded thanks to the help and partnership with OCL Studios, we were making some real theatre magic.
Then on Nov 12, we were struck with the news of the immediate two-week pause starting the next day of all sports, fitness and performance activities. We stopped the production of our film that day. The days following were filled with many emotions and plans of action.
We have since come to learn that StoryBook would be exempt from this pause and has been given permission to complete the filming of our production starting Nov 26, just one day prior to our scheduled "Opening Night."
This unexpected turn of events has not dampened our spirits. We are excited to create a wonderful online production of Annie the musical and look forward to sharing this with you. This pause in filming does however mean we are delayed in our ability to present the finished film on time.
We have decided that until we have the production filmed to completion and ready to be edited we cannot commit to a new date for presentation online.
We know this is not the first time we have asked for your patience while we determine what is best for everyone. We assure you that we are committed to making this happen. We thank you in advance for your understanding and support in knowing these circumstances are truly beyond our control.
We have continued to pivot and shift to make things happen and we are confident that if all goes as planned our production of Annie will be live to you in no time at all.
For all those patrons with tickets between November 27 to December 13 we ask that you hold tight. Please give us until December 1 to announce when our production will be ready. Once we make that announcement then we will reach out to invite you to switch to a new date for viewing.
This has been a crazy year, and we will just continue to try and deliver our passion and love to you the best way we can. We thank you for your support.

ABOUT THE SHOW
With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations... and even befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt! She finds a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
Based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie has become a worldwide phenomenon and was the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The beloved book and score by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, features some of the greatest musical theatre hits ever written, including "Tomorrow."
