Set in the East Village of New York City, Rent School Edition is about falling in love, finding your voice and living for today. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, it has become a pop cultural phenomenon with songs that rock and a story that resonates with audiences of all ages.

Based loosely on Puccini's La Boheme, Rent School Edition follows a year in the life of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York's Lower East Side, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS. The physical and emotional complications of the disease pervade the lives of Roger, Mimi, Tom, and Angel. Maureen deals with her chronic infidelity through performance art; her partner, Joanne, wonders if their relationship is worth the trouble. Benny has sold out his Bohemian ideals in exchange for a hefty income and is on the outs with his former friends. Mark, an aspiring filmmaker, feels like an outsider to life in general. How these young bohemians negotiate their dreams, loves, and conflicts provides the narrative thread to this groundbreaking musical.

Cinderella: the tale of the glass slipper

Book, Music & Lyrics by JANET YATES & MARK MARK FRIEDMAN

"A dream is a wish your heart makes."

October 9 to 31

Don’t miss the highlight of the holiday season, A Christmas Story – The Musical as it comes to hilarious life on stage! Based on the perennial holiday movie favorite, the story takes place in 1940’s Indiana, where a bespectacled boy named Ralphie has a big imagination and one wish for Christmas. A kooky leg lamp, outrageous pink bunny pajamas, a cranky department store Santa, and a triple dog-dare to lick a freezing flagpole are just a few of the obstacles that stand between Ralphie and his Christmas dream.

Following the 2012 sold-out engagement on Broadway, A Christmas Story – The Musical was nominated for 3 TONY Awards including Best New Musical. The Associated Press calls A Christmas Story – The Musical “a joyous Christmas miracle,” while The New York Times writes “I was dazzled. You’d have to have a Grinch-sized heart not to feel a smile spreading across your face.”

"It's the story of one little boy and his

Christmas mornging dream!"

"What happens when the perfect dream becomes

a complete nightmare?"

Lord of the Flies is based on the 1954 dystopian novel by Nobel Prize-winning English author William Golding about a group of British boys stuck on an uninhabited island who try to govern themselves with disastrous results.

Playwright and novelist Nigel Williams's stage adaptation of William Golding's story was first professionally produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company at Stratford-upon-Avon in July 1995. 'Remarkably true to the novel in spirit . . . the theatre lends itself particularly well to the ritualistic aspects of the story - chanting, dancing, marching, forming a circle round the victim, stamping out a fire . . . You end up feeling you have seen a fable of infinite implications enacted in a little room.' Sunday Telegraph

ADULT WARNING:  This production is not suitable for sensitive children and we suggest parents should research the original novel before deciding to attend this production.
