Junior Semester ( Ages 6 - 8 ) - $ 249 + GST

“The Brothers Grimm”

10 Weeks (Beginning Saturday, APRIL 9, 2011) 9:30am - 11am

Come and explore the magic of theatre with some of the best stories around. Actors will have a ton of fun with Grimm classics like The Frog Prince, Hansel and Gretel, Rumpelstiltskin, Snow White and many more! The final performance will be based on how many students are registered in the class and what the favorite stories of the group may be. Classic stories with great morals will have these students performing with confidence.

Intermediate Semester ( Ages 9 - 12 ) - $ 299 + GST

“Villains and Heroes”

10 Weeks (Beginning Saturday, APRIL 9, 2011) 11:00am - 1:00pm

Students will get to delve into scripts of their favorite shows and find out what makes the villains so evil and the heroes so good. The class will consist of a character study of the good vs evil to help understand what makes these characters tick. A look into the use of colour, props, and physical character to help represent the baddest of the bad and the best of the best. Young actors will be able to represent both a nasty villain and a proud hero in their final performance. The show will consists of various scenes, old classics and new creations by the actors themselves, using the life long battle of good vs evil as their base.

Senior Semester ( Ages 13 - 17 ) - $ 299 + GST

“Scene and Tech Study”

10 Weeks (Beginning Saturday, APRIL 9, 2011) 1:00pm - 4:00pm

This acting intensive, also shares focus with the technical side of theatre. Each student will be assigned a short scene with 2 or 3 other actors as performers. They will also be assigned a technical duty and act as crew for another students scene. The students will learn the importance of the marriage between technical theatre and performance, basic acting skills and technical components such as how to use the lighting and sound board. This class is an exciting opportunity for students to learn about all aspects of the theatre.

 

Storybook Glee Club

No Glee Club this round. We will have a session during the summer so keep on singing until then!
