“THE MICE FROM OUTER SPACE” (MUSICAL) by Kenneth Jennings

Young imaginations run wild when the subject is outer space. The story revolves around a group of space mice who crash (safely and comically) on earth. They are rejected by the local mice because they look and sound different. Just then, the Bad Cat threatens a baby earth mouse and a chase ensures. When the space mice join in to scare off the cat, the earth mice realize that they were wrong about their strange new friends, and they learn a valuable lesson about acceptance.

Intermediate Semester ( Ages 9 - 12 )

“ASSIGNMENT EARTH” (MUSICAL) by Roger Emerson

10 Weeks (11:00am - 1:00pm Beginning Saturday, January 15th, 2011)

What can kids do to help the environment? Plenty! Join the E Team as they apply Kid Power to the problems we all face in cleaning up the environment. The eight exciting original songs in this contemporary all-school revue feature styles from Broadway to pop and from rap to rock.

Storybook Glee Club (Ages 13 - 18)

"Gleeking Out" (Choral)

10 Weeks (1:00pm - 4:00pm Beginning Saturday, January 15th, 2011)

Tuition: $ 299 + $ 50 (materials) = $ 349 + GST

Back by popular demand! Glee club gives students the opportunity to sing, dance and have all the drama. Our goal is to give students the opportunity to perform in the community to showcase this amazing group of talented teens.

Glee Club has an audition requirement (returning students do not have to re-audition).

The purpose of the audition is to ensure that the student has a least a fundamental ability to sing on pitch, in a choral environment with harmony and has a basic understanding of how to read music. Potential students are asked to prepare a 2 - 3 minute song for presentation, and will be tested for ability to stay on pitch and harmonize.

New students must complete and submit the registration form, and will be contacted by the Theatre School staff to schedule an audition prior to the commencement of the program.
